Education
Gavriel currently lectures modules in Electronic Music Performance at the University of Northampton. He facilitates the annual ‘Of Sound Mind’ sound art installation with the music department. He supervises students working with Max 4 Live object-based programming, creative use of midi controllers (including Touch OSC and Xbox Kinect), and live multichannel diffusion to create immersive and engaging sound art installations. All of his pedagogy is infused with contemporary psychological philosophy that promotes student wellbeing.
Having taught in diverse environments and with a range of people, Gavriel adapts to his environment and facilitates sessions that are calming, focused, thorough, and introspective. Gavriel has also delivered experiential workshops on introduction to music therapy and musical wellbeing.
